Framework agreements

Enter is a framework agreement partner of Hansel Oy, a joint procurement unit of the central and local governments in Finland, and Enter follows Hansel’s “Code of Conduct – Vastuullisuuden vähimmäisvelvoitteet” criteria laying down the minimum responsibility requirements.

Values

Enter is also committed, in its own activities and within its sphere of influence in its supply chains, to supporting sustainable development and social responsibility, paying special attention to the following:

Human rights

Enter complies with labour legislation and regulations. Enter’s HR management monitors changes in labour legislation and regulations.

Enter has determined the principles, goals and coverage of occupational healthcare and occupational safety. The achievement of the goals is actively monitored, and the results are used to develop Enter’s occupational safety management system and occupational safety itself.

Enter’s safety target is 0 occupational accidents. Enter strives to take into account and constantly reduce the mental strain caused by specialist work. Enter plans its operations together with occupational healthcare experts.

Enter has documented safety guidelines for the entire staff in the operational practices, covering occupational healthcare practices, occupational safety and health practices, physical and mental load management, internal work and client work. In addition, Enter has special instructions for customer-specific practices in higher-risk working environments.

Environmental targets

In its strategy, Enter favours service business instead of product sales. Enter pays attention to environmental protection and environmentally friendly production of goods and services.

Enter has set goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Enter favours the choice of energy-efficient hardware. Enter recycles materials and disposes of hazardous substances responsibly.

Suppliers and subcontractors used by Enter must also meet the environmental and security principles set by Enter’s customers. If a supplier does not meet the requirements of Enter and the customer, Enter does not use the supplier to provide the customer’s products or services.

Documented and set environmental targets and their achievement are monitored in Enter’s EC monitoring system. The planning and development of environmental objectives is regularly carried out by Enter management.

Administration

Enter has determined the quality goals of operations to meet customers’ needs and expectations and to achieve satisfaction in product and service offering. The achievement of the goals is actively monitored, and the results are used to develop Enter’s product and service offering with a focus on quality.

Enter pays special attention to the training and competence of its entire staff, as the products and services to be delivered are essentially based on expertise and its cost-effectiveness and the productivity that the expertise enables.

Enter’s management is committed to setting goals and supporting, monitoring and developing continuous improvement in quality.

Complaints will be handled by Enter’s service manager, a customer-specific person in charge and the staff involved in the delivery being complained about. In addition, Enter’s administration participates in the processing of invoice complaints. If necessary, sales management and/or general management will be involved.

Complaints will be documented on the customer cards in Enter’s information systems for quality control. If necessary, the product manufacturer and/or distributor representatives will also be involved in product complaints. The terms of complaint handling, with timeframes, are described in Enter’s service descriptions and general terms.

Supply chain

Enter itself works in accordance with the obligations imposed by the Act on the Contractor’s Obligations and Liability When Work is Contracted Out and requires the same of all its subcontractors.
Enter orders products and services only from suppliers and subcontractors who meet Enter’s
quality criteria. The suppliers’ activities may be certified or a supplier may otherwise communicate their operating principles, which must meet Enter’s criteria.
Suppliers and subcontractors used by Enter must also meet the environmental and security principles set by Enter’s customers. If a supplier does not meet the requirements of Enter and the customer, Enter does not use the supplier to provide the customer’s products or services.
