“For more than eight years, we have collaborated with Enter. We wanted to focus on our core business, and this is why all of our IT functions have been outsourced to Enter. Enter takes care of the support services, system operation and system security,” says Kaso Oy’s Managing Director Risto Palkama.
Agile Microsoft NAV project
When a new Microsoft NAV enterprise resource planning system was acquired for Kaso a few years back, Enter also designed an extensive IT architecture and built the required remote connections at that time. During all stages of the project, Enter closely co-operated with Mavisystems, the company that delivered NAV.
“The project was quite smooth from our perspective. Enter independently communicated with Mavisystems, which made our business a lot easier. There was no need for us to be the unnecessary middleman,” Palkama says.
One system ensures that the information is up to date
At Kaso, one system covers it all: sales, production, procurements, deliveries, maintenance and financial administration.
“With all information in one place, we have boosted our process efficiency. At the same time, we are saving a considerable number of working hours. In addition, reporting is more extensive than before, as information is continuously up to date. And it is a whole lot easier to maintain one system than multiple ones,” he adds.
Maintenance services that save time
Enter takes care of Kaso’s IT solutions as a whole with the turnkey principle. The systems are developed as needed, and observations about potential development targets are reviewed in annual meetings. In addition, there are monthly support visits.
“Maintenance services are the easy choice for us. We greatly value the service that we receive from Enter. They can talk with us at an understandable level, even if we ourselves are not experts in IT. Enter takes care of the operation and security over systems, and they also bear responsibility for appropriate reporting,” Palkama says.
