The story of Names
Names by Enter was conceived in 2013. Starting with the first service concepts, the theme was to provide customers with a centralised source of specialised Microsoft expertise. We gathered the majority of top Finnish professionals with the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional recognition to the alliance, resulting in an unprecedented cavalcade of seasoned professionals under one roof. The Finnish IT professional audience was left without its annual conference when Microsoft TechDays, as it was then known, was discontinued after the 2013 event. Fresh out of the oven, Names took on the challenge and arranged a series of Microsoft technology events, known over the years as NamesDays, DevDays, DevTalks and TechTalks. Naturally, the MVPs played an important role among the speakers.
The next step in the evolution was forming the Names Alliance in connection with the 2016 TechTalks. Our operations and network of specialists were expanded from infrastructure technologies to business solutions – Microsoft Intelligent Business Cloud and Dynamics 365.
